Mardi Gras Masquerade and Fundraiser

ROTARY CLUB OF BLACKSBURG
MARDI GRAS PARTY & FUND RAISER
was on Thursday evening, March 8, 2011

The 2011 Mardi Gras Masquerade & Auction will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, to benefit the Foundation of Rotary, a not for profit corporation, which enables Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.

The event at the Blacksburg Country Club will include a creole dinner, silent and live auctions as well as entertainment from a Dixieland band. Last year’s event drew over 100 Club members and friends and raised approximately $15,000 for the Rotary International Foundation which funds international projects as well as supports local projects here at home by supplying necessary grant funding. Four Way Test

Rotary International has a simple guide to help Rotarians to make decisions of integrity in their business and personal lives.
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
