Dear Montgomery County Resident,
Each year, the Rotary Club of Blacksburg recognizes an outstanding individual as the Pat Cupp & Ward Teel Rotary Club Citizen of the Year in Montgomery County. You can nominate outstanding citizens simply by completing and returning the attached nomination form.Citizen of the Year nominees must be a Montgomery County resident and also must be a non-Rotarian. Selection for this award will be based on the nominee’s character, business practices, and lifestyle activities that exemplify the Rotary ideal of – Service Above Self, and Rotary International’s Four Way Test:
- Is it the Truth?
- Is it Fair to all concerned?
- Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
- Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?
If you know someone who might fit, do not let the nomination process be an obstacle. All you have to do is fill out the form, and a member of the Blacksburg Rotary Club’s Vocational Service Committee may contact you with a few follow-up questions, if needed.
