Fine Arts Awards

Fine Arts Scholarships: Each Spring, our club presents the Fine Arts Scholarship Awards to outstanding Montgomery County high school seniors.  The scholarship is $500. Students are nominated by their teachers and then present a portfolio in the case of visual art, or an audition in the case of performing art.  The winners thenpresent their art at the Fine Arts Luncheon.

Please feel free to copy the attached forms as needed.  The criteria and guidelines explain the requirements for the award.  Please note that a nomination form, completed by a teacher or school official, and must accompany each application form completed by a student.  Letters of recommendation may also be included with the applications.  Each application packet needs to be assembled and forwarded to me by March 10, 2010.  Applicants will be called on March 12, 2010 and provided an interview time for the evening of March 17, 2010 at which time the student will meet the selection panel and present their art.
