Career & Technical Education Student Award Nominations

The Rotary Club of Blacksburg is accepting nominations for 2010 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student Awards. This Award recognizes outstanding CTE seniors within the Montgomery County Public Schools system and includes a $750 scholarship towards tuition costs at a community college to complete an Associate Degree in a career and technical field.

Career & Technical Education (CTE) teachers and students may submit nominations for our Club’s 2010 CTE Student Awards. Our Club selects recipients from nominations, based on performance, initiative and dependability in their chosen fields. Additional, consideration is given for student’s who exemplify Rotary’s ideals of - high ethical standards and service to others.

The Student Nomination is to be completed by the student applicant and submitted to their teacher by April 19th, and the teacher’s portion of the Nomination is due back to the Rotary Club of Blacksburg by April 22th. Students or teachers may initiate the process.
